The touchpal keyboard on my T-Mobile Pulse has stopped working. According to Cootek (the software manufacturers), there is nothing I can do other than do a factory reset (google for touchpal keyboard pulse) . Having only had the phone for a couple of weeks, this isn't acceptable - what can T-Mobile do to help me?

Apparently, that has something to do with your predictive text custom data - the fix is here:

lostreflection(dot)com/android/fix-touchpal-keyboard-predictive-text-on-t-mobile-pulse/

Just replace (dot) with . in URL above.

Thank you! That's fantastic - and baffling as to why CooTek couldn't suggest that.

Cooktek are working on a fix for this issue. Check out their forums. Once fixed they will issue an update. In the meantime you can clear data as mentioned on the post above.
