November 2009: T-Mobile Pulse Software

This software update should be used ONLY when your T-Mobile Pulse has been security locked and you do not have a valid password.

If you right-click on your mouse here and select the "Save target as.." option - it should take about 2 minutes to download depending on your internet connection speed.

PLEASE NOTE: Installing this update will remove all existing data on your T-Mobile Pulse.

 

November 2009: T-Mobile Pulse Open Source Code

The "Open Source" code for the T-Mobile Pulse is now available for you to download. This source code is available for the T-Mobile Pulse only and is not compatible with any other Android handset.

Please only download this code if you have a high level of technical experience - it is for development use only and is NOT a necessary software upgrade.

October 2009: ROM Upgrade for G2 Touch

A software update is now available to download for the T-Mobile G2 Touch. This update is available for the G2 Touch only and is not compatible with any other Android handset.

Just follow these simple steps to complete the update:

  1. Download the latest HTC synchronisation software. (Please note - This synchronisation software is not MAC compatible.)
  2. Download the software ROM update for your G2.
  3. View the instructions on how to install the new software.

Please follow these instructions carefully.

Downloading and updating your software may take some time due to the volume of interest there is in this latest update, so please be patient.

If you encounter any problems during this process, please refer to the HTC Support website where further assitance can be found.

How do I use text messaging?

From the Text Messages menu on your phone, select ' Write' or ' Create message' and use the keypad to write. Send by entering a mobile number or choosing a name from your phone book. A single message can contain up to 160 characters, but some phones will allow multiple messages of up to 450 characters. How do I update my phone's software?

Can I turn voicemail off?

Voicemail is offered as standard to all customers. However, you can cancel any diverts set so that calls won't go to voicemail. Check your phone's user guide or Interactive Online Manual or contact Customer Services by dialling 150 from your phone.

How do I set up picture messaging?

If your mobile has a screen that can show pictures, all you need to do to get set up is send a picture message to a phone or email address. That's it. Keep in mind you won't be able to receive a picture message until you've sent one. More help with picture messaging>

What is HSDPA?

HSDPA makes the 3G network faster so you can download files and surf the internet at higher speeds. It covers all of our 3G network. Your connection will run at HSDPA speeds if you are using the silver data card and you're in a 3G coverage area.
