Register a card before topping up
How to top up by text
Once you've register a card text the following to 150:
- The letters CR
- The last four digits of your credit/debit card
- The amount you want to top up (in £5 increments, min payment £5 up to £95)
- The three digit security code on the back of your card (four digit if AMEX)
For example: CR 1234 5 123
Don't forget the spaces in between - they are important - and we'll send you a text to confirm your top up was successful.

Here's how it works
It's quick and easy to top up in My T-Mobile from anywhere in the world - all you need is a computer with internet access and your My T-Mobile username and password.
And the great thing about topping up in My T-Mobile is, while you're there you can
- See if your account has been credited
- Check your itemised use for the past 90 days (if you're the account holder)
- Send a webtext (charged at your price plan rate)
- Do lots of other useful stuff
How to top up online
First, you'll need to register your credit or debit card details in My T-Mobile. Topping up is part of the card registration process.
Next time you need credit, simply log in to My T-Mobile and select 'Top up now'.
Make sure you have a registered card handy because you'll need to enter the last four digits and the three-digit security code on the back.
Tip: When you register a card, our system checks whether the address you entered when you signed up to My T-Mobile matches the card billing address. If the addresses don't match, the maximum you'll be able to top up online in a 30-day period is £30.

Electronic top-up (E top-up) is ideal when you're out and about and you need to top up. It's available at T-Mobile stores and over 100,000 retail outlets around the UK such as grocery stores, newsagents and off licences.
How to top up with E top-up
If you've just bought a new phone on the U-Fix price plan pop into your nearest T-Mobile store to pick up an E-top up card.
If you've lost this card, or if you want to link extra E top-up cards to your account (a good option for parents who want to top up their children's credit), you can easily pick these cards up for free at any shop displaying the sign below.
To link E top-up cards to your phone, simply dial 150 from your mobile and follow the instructions on the card.
Tip: If you have more than one E top-up card, make sure you write the phone number each card is linked to on the back so you don't mix them up.
When you want to top up, all you need to do is:
- Visit a shop displaying the sign above
- Say how much you want to top up (between £5 and £50 in £5 increments)
- Hand over your E top-up card for swiping
- Pay
How to top up with E-voucher
Everywhere you see the green E-top up sign you can also top up by E-voucher. So if you leave your swipe card at home there's no need to panic. An E-voucher is a card or receipt with a unique 16-digit voucher number printed on it.
When you want to top up, just:
- Visit a shop displaying the sign above
- Buy a voucher (between £5 and £50 in £5 increments)
- Dial 150 and select option 1 then 2
- Key in the 16-digit voucher number and press #

Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this condition. If you do break this condition, we'll disconnect your SIM card from our networkwithout giving you any advance warning.
